The risk of loss and title for products purchased from Mitchell and Son pass to you upon delivery of the products to the carrier. It is your responsibility to file any claims with carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments.

7. Returns and Refunds

Mitchell and Son stands behind the quality of our products. Our return policy is as follows:

7.1 Return Eligibility

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

The following items cannot be returned:

• Custom or personalized products

• Products that have been worn, used, or altered

• Products with removed tags or packaging

• Products marked as "final sale" or "non-returnable"

7.2 Return Process

To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items sent back without an RMA number may not be processed for a refund.

You will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to certain returns.

7.3 Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10 business days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Mitchell and Son provides the following limited warranty for products purchased directly from us:

Mitchell and Son warrants that products sold will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the following periods:

• Soft body armor: 5 years from date of purchase

• Hard armor plates: 5-10 years from date of purchase (varies by manufacturer)

• Carriers, pouches, and accessories: 1 year from date of purchase

This warranty is void if the product has been:

• Damaged by improper use, care, or storage

• Modified or altered in any way

• Damaged by exposure to excessive heat, chemicals, or moisture

• Struck by a bullet or other projectile (body armor that has been struck should be immediately replaced, regardless of visible damage)

8.2 Warranty Claims

​

To make a warranty claim, contact our customer service team with your order information and a description of the defect. Mitchell and Son will, at its option, repair or replace any product that proves to be defective during the applicable warranty period.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

9. Intellectual Property

The Website and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof), are owned by Mitchell and Son, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
